Step 1 - Accurate measurements are the key element we need to help plan your new outdoor kitchen. Download our design kit here. Carefully measure Pillars, slopes, trees, corners… Once you have a design in mind, draw the basic shape out and note the measurements to help us visualize your space. We recommend sending us pictures of your space as well. *Also note where the existing or future gas stub, electrical and plumbing will be as this will affect the design layout.

(Calise Tip) Think about how many people you typically entertain at an event. Each chair sitting requires approximately 24 inches of counter space and a minimum of 3 feet of push back. Don’t forget you can always add seating with a fire table if needed.

*Calise is not licensed to perform gas, electric, plumbing and landscaping work and will not attempt to perform them. Please hire a licensed contractor to perform these types of services.

Step 2 - Let’s talk grills.. The heart of your island is your grill. Going back to the number of people you entertain, we recommend our 48” gourmet if you do a lot of entertaining and hosting parties. Our 37” grill is ideal for a larger family that hosts special events and holiday gatherings. Our 27” grill is perfect for small to medium size families that don’t do a lot of entertaining.

Step 3– Now you’re ready for a free phone or online design consultation. Simply call us at (480) 967-2266 to speak to a design consultant. Be prepared to present all the information you gathered in steps 1 and 2 via fax or email. A layout will be constructed using a 5/8” scale template of our Modulars and sent back to you once a design consultant has received all your information. We will also stage your requested stainless components in a way that will give your island full functionality.
